A natural proponent of doing what is right, Jonathan worked as an attorney at Defenders of Wildlife in Washington, DC after graduating from Vermont Law School. At the environmental non-profit he focused on Endangered Species Act litigation and lobbying Congress on environmental issues. He later honed his skills in criminal defense trial work while working as an Assistant Public Defender in Jacksonville, where he represented thousands of clients in all aspects of criminal law. He has been honored for his work in the Habitual Felony Offender and Civil Commitment divisions.
Jonathan is a co-founder and owner of Zisser Frazier Family Law. Raised by legal legends Elliot and Carolyn Zisser, Jonathan was instinctively drawn to law at an early age. His deep desire to protect the rights of others led him to apply his Criminal Law expertise to Family Law at his father’s firm. True to form, Jonathan has volunteered with Jacksonville Area Legal Aid (JALA) for over a decade.
Two-time honoree as a Florida Super Lawyers Rising Star, Jonathan is also a gifted speaker on a variety of Family Law and related Criminal Law issues.
